What began as the New Zealand Beer, Wine, and Spirits Council’s NZ Beer Expo in 2001 has evolved into the country’s premier craft beer event. Initially known as the BrewNZ Beer Expo, it later transformed into Taste BrewNZ and eventually became Beervana. Throughout its journey, passionate beer enthusiasts have continuously guided its evolution.

Today, under the ownership of the Wellington Culinary Events Trust, Beervana attracts thousands of visitors each year. The event features over 70 breweries and hundreds of beers, making it a haven for beer connoisseurs and novices alike. However, Beervana is more than just a place to quench your thirst.
